Mill Woods Sport Park brings together outdoor facilities and community recreation spaces in one Edmonton park. The City of Edmonton says it was initially designed in 1982 as a District Activity Park for active recreation in the surrounding community.

Park amenities include sports fields, paved walkways, picnic sites, a park pavilion and a small lake. Swimming and boating are not allowed in the lake. The park also has parking, portable washrooms and a water playground.

The pavilion and spotter’s box are open only to people who have booked the artificial turf field through the City’s Bookings department. The park is not wheelchair accessible, so take that into account when planning time outdoors.
